You went to Alabama? That's a shocker. http://i485.photobucket.com/albums/r...e_999/rofl.gif

I always liked 'Crimson and Clover' too, but especially after seeing Charlize Theron's tour de force
performance with Christina Ricci in the movie Monster (2003) - IMDb, where it's part of the sound track.

a small song for a small state.

An ambient song that could easily be used as a soundtrack to a modern surrealist film

this song was played nonstop on the radios all 2007. It was the song that made the year for me.
it was fun revisiting it.

Alabama of the Crimson Tide is certainly one possibility.

Other crimson options exist, however: Barclay College, Bradley University, Bridgewater State College, Calvary Bible College and Theological Seminary, Coe College (Iowan! :)), Grove City College, Hastings College, Harvard, Huston-Tillotson College, Indiana University, University of the Incarnate Word (in San Antonio)...

Hmm. Which one might have tempted me the most. Hmm. University of the Incarnate Word, perhaps?

I have been wanting to watch the movie "Monster" to see Theron's performance, which I read was excellent! I shall put the movie on my "definitely must watch soon" list, especially now that I know "Crimson and Clover" is part of the soundtrack.

Here's one of my favorite Rolling Stones' songs to which I am now listening while at work. A nice happy song.

Rolling Stones - Paint It Black

And now I'm listening to more Siouxsie . I am pleased there are several long YouTube videos of this show so that I can listen while updating a chemical inventory without needing to stop frequently to find new music. She was polite but adamant as she shoved the poor college student off stage: "Go!" :)

Let's see . . . not Alabama . . . I'll have to go with Calvary Bible College and Theological Seminary. That would explain yer insatiable interest in religion. http://i485.photobucket.com/albums/r...e_999/haha.gif

Good one. Here's another:

You wouldn't expect to hear a sitar in there, but you can. :)
