Listening to some mix I made. It's ambient folk drone kinda stuff, just wanted to compile that into one playlist for easy listening pleasure.

Found this piece with Colin Stetson on Spotify. Haven't listened to the rest of the album without Stetson but it's probably pretty good. Stetson works well with a post rock group, I'd like to see him do that instead of more solo stuff (not that I would object to him releasing more solo stuff).

Night Gaunts / Days N Daze - Split (2015)

Really cool "ska punk" tracks from Night Gaunts so far. I wasn't too enthralled by Love Life & The Devil, but this is much better. But I'll have to check that album out again.

I think this is my favorite voice I've heard.

This record is surprisingly super hard to find in stores, so I opted to get a used copy on Amazon. Worth it. The album after this release is great too, a little less accessible but quality all around.

Never heard of the guy but this is pretty amazing. Sort of like folk mixed with synthpop, bit of classical, and some bitter, ****-you lyrics. Me like.

I enjoy his style too, but I haven't listened to the whole album yet.

I really didn't think I'd like it but I ended up really getting into it. I'll be "Bitesizing" it later today hopefully so you can get a flavour of the whole thing. Could have done without Sinead O'Connor though...
