I am currently listening to Ukiuq by The Jerry Cans from Nunavut, Canada. They sing in their native language and include traditional throat singing in their songs. Love them!

More and more artists do this in Canada. There's Samian, a French-language rapper who's pretty well known in Quebec as someone who's very outspoken on indigenous issues, and his latest stuff is all in Algonquin.

Sorry, don't yiz use VPN? Anyway it was the title track from the Prince album Controversy. Works for me, but here's another version. Hopefully this will work.

VPN's cost money and I don't watch enough pedophile porn to justify it.

Nah, Opera comes with one built in. Plus you can get extensions. They don't work as well as the ones you pay for, but I tried two paid ones and each slowed my broadband speed to a crawl so I wouldn't pay for another one.

Sometimes I forget just how many pure bangers Britney has in her back catalog. Bitch was born to destroy dancefloors.

Night to myself. Bae is working. Decided to randomize my record collection on Discogs because I couldn't choose what to listen. Here's my first three...

Tim Buckley - Lorca
Don Cherry - Relativity Suite
Robbie Basho - The Seal of the Blue Lotus

On Basho now. Wonder what else comes up tonight.

My favorite things about Britney, since you asked:

1. In high school I made my future girlfriend laugh by doing a rather cumtown-esque bit about the gay Asian backup dancer from her first videos. Always had a flair for ironic racism.

First time that I see him - one of the very great guitarists - without the guitar (although he could play a number of instruments to a high standard)...

Snakefinger forever!
