^ Haven't listened to that in so long, will give it a listen again. Thanks for reminding me!

Thought I'd give their debut a listen after reading it had the fastest song ever recorded.
The album is good, vocals are a bit harsh on the ears, quality is so-so, but the Reggae -Influence tracks are amazing, they should have done a full reggae album, take a break from the fast intense punk!

[EDIT]

Now listening to

First time I heard it, it was a bit hard to get accustomed to since I had heard the original so many times, but I'm giving it another listen and it is growing on me, such a great tribute.

Dazzling Killmen - Blown (Face Down)

Giving these guys a listen... Pretty good heavy noise rock/math-rock stuff. Probably one of the best in this style I have heard since:

can't stop listening to Deerhoof at the moment.

went to see them on Tuesday night and they finished their set with this fine song from their "Friend Opportunity" album....

and they ended their encore with a cover version of this classic by the Ramones....

U-Men—"Dig it a Hole". Good stuff. I really need to listen to these guys more and so should you if you like The Birthday Party or Jesus Lizard or anything along those lines.

I walk alone, cos I was born alone,
I chirps her just for fun, I never ever call her phone,
I leave her in the club, I never ever walk her home,
DL the fkin foundation, im the cornerstone,
Im born famous,
Im sorta known,
If your son doesnt,
I bet your Daughter knows,
Check out my visual, checkout my audio,
Extra ordinary, yo, hope you enjoyed the show

I especially love the top line. I walk alone cause I was born alone!

Almost reminds me of that one Green Day song that's a favorite of mines.

I walk alone and the only person that has my back is my shadow.

I'm paraphasing horribly but w/e

Fast forward to the one minute mark (it is part of a compilation mix).

Am I the only person to find bass lines sexy? I hope not.

Yeah I'm really getting into this Witch House stuff. If only because I can now say that I listen to Witch House. I may start calling it Haunted House. It's just as awesome.
