Yeah it is. He is a poor rapper, but he really does promote a positive message when he is being serious, and parodies gangster/swag rap really well. Beats are great too, especially the one I posted.

Oh man I haven't listened to early chillies for ages. Backwoods is such a great tune especially if you have decent Hi fi equipment when that bass kicks in.

Funnily enough I had some old Chili's stuff on a few days ago, for the first time in what could be years. I only had random tracks on but stuff like Show Me Your Soul makes me want to go back to their first four albums again.

I never really used to listen to EC that much, but now I can't stop it. The guy's an amazing songwriter, and he makes the most out of a somewhat limited singing voice.
