R.I.P. my friend.

And I'm listening Surfing Bird by Ramones. It's probably the funniest song ever recorded and it makes me laugh everytime I listen to it
LORD I LOVE THE RAMONES

there's so many reasons to love them, but this is one of my favorites:

This track is off of "Race Music", one of 2013's best releases wherein billy woods and Elucid form a powerful hip hop duo. Great lyricism on all sides over semi hardcore beats that blend well with the dark themes at play. It took a few listens for me to like it but it's very rewarding in the long run, as all of woods's albums are.

Thank you Ki. It's a rough one since Mike was a person I really looked up to as someone with integrity. The man had loads of it. He was really never the same after his wife died in 2002 though, so at least he's with her now. He and his brother were jamming Tuesday night and everything was fine when Mike left, then at about 3am his brother got the call that he had died of a heart attack in his home. Sudden tragic losses like this always leave me cold. We had a singer for our band die the exact same way. One day at practice everything's fine, then the next day I get the same call.

ICP featuring ODB. Apparently he was so ****ed (from what I inferred) that ICP could only get like one verse that was usable from the recording session cause ODB just kind of rambled on about "bitches" the whole time. They even had to rewrite the lyrics of the song to fit in with his craziness. Sweet.
