Do you ever have fantasies about getting older family members into music? Cause my grandfather was a Vietnam vet generation guy who hated my uncle's 80s metal music but my music love has to come from somewhere and me and grandfather have far too many things in the absolute worst sense in common so maybe we have some of the best things in common and I can't help but wonder if I couldn't get him into one of my absolute fav albums ever. TBperfectlyFH though I can't understand how anybody from the 70s wouldn't flip their **** over this album. One day I'll give it a shot. One day he'll give me the stink eye.

I introduced my grandpa to Sinatra. It felt backwards.

I'd be too bored to try. My grandfather remembers "Paint It Black" as the top hit when he went to Vietnam and I'd need to compete with that. Either I'd not ever try or I'd be like "You ever heard of the Velvet Underground?"
