Johnny Greenwood.

I wonder if I'll get flamed for this.

Inorite.

Anyway, seriously, it'd probably have to go to a Classical composer. They have a lot of sound to account for.

Chris Brown. Plus he can dance too, and you know he's not scared to hit a bitch.

The answer was right in front of us the whole time...

If I want all that, I'd vote Rick James. Get real.

this is the most retarded list i've ever seen on a forum. seriously.

who the hell puts bach, mozart, and beethoven against clapton and hendrix. those old farts are boring and just played like piano or harpsichord or maybe a melodica. either way they're super lame. i mean seriously, hendrix set his guitar on fire, he'd do his guitar like he was doing a groupie, hendrix is the man it's a fact*. beethoven had some stupid wig thing. 9th symphony what? symphonies are too long and way boring. clapton gets a freebie for at least using an electric guitar. bach was way fruity with his super long melodies and churchy bits and mozart's very existence is directly responsible for this:

but seriously though - zappa.

To be fair, he should probably win on that basis alone.

mr dave 02-24-2009 01:59 AM

i was afraid of that reaction

in that case i might have to retract zappa only to replace him with the incredibly underrated talents of mr. bobby mcferrin

Actually, in all seriousness, I love Bobby McFerrin. I have that album on vinyl and it's really a great album, especially when you consider that the whole thing is just layers of vocal and body percussion tracks from one person. And his cover of "Sunshine Of Your Love" is freaking amazing.
