Default Modern Phil Spector Sound?

Hi, I am trying to discover new music. Recently have been into songs that have a more modern take on Phil Spector sound. Examples being Daddy's Gone (Glasvegas), I'm Waiting Here (David Lynch & Lykee Li), some Pixies stuff. Almost like a dark modern Wall of Sound. I know this is pretty specific but any suggestions of songs, artists would be great!

Are you looking for the Spector heavy production sound, or just groups with retro harmonies?

I'll say what I always say and suggest Spiritualized. I do like other artists, honest!

But no, seriously, Spiritualized are great. The album of theirs that's the most Spector-like is Let it Come Down, but Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space is pretty much perfect and has moments (like "Cool Waves") that seem up your alley. I also would recommend their most recent two albums, but if you don't like those first two I mentioned you probably won't like them either.

Default Retro harmonies

Definitely more the retro Spector melodies. Will check out spiritualized! Let me know what else. Thanks!

I don't know any current groups with a true Wall of Sound, but Grizzly Bear and Fleet Foxes both have retro-sounding harmonies. I don't really know if they're what you're looking for, but they're worth a listen.

Maybe this is what you've got in mind? This is more semi-Wall of Sound stuff, especially the first song. But you need to listen to it on headphones or really good speakers.
