Default Brightblack Morning Light

A band I've almost never heard mentioned here that I'd guess a lot of you would like.

Really hard to describe other then delightful, it has a seductive melancholy quality to it.

Here's the First Track from their self-titled 2006 album which is the only one I have.

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

I have heard the name before but hadn't heard any of their music before. I liked that track a lot. Is the album it's from in a similar vein?

^Yeah, most of the tracks on the s/t are similar like that. It's a great "hippie shoegaze" album.

You should check out the new LP, Motion to Rejoin, too.

I don't know, check your inbox and find out for yourself.

And yes it is very similar, maybe too much so, but I'll let you decide.

Plan to before much longer, sort of inundated with new music at the moment.

You know when you want music in the background that does it's job yet still is effortlessly cool if called upon in a conversation? BBML are the band.

The music doesn't particulary go anywhere yet it has such a great vibe and earthy sound. Love the horn work in Friend Of Time. I really sometimes wish I still partaked of the weed. This would sound amazing in the lazy summer sun.

Listening to the track now, it's got a really chilled feeling to it. Is most of their music like this? I like it.
