Talking Heads? Inoffensive background music? Are you kidding me?

Dude, I was the DJ for my brother's 19th birthday party and I actually played Talking Heads 77 and Remain in Light.

Mom told me to turn it off when it got to Adrian Belew's guitar solo in The Great Curve, for she thought it was too raucous, and she's a hair metal fan.
I guess there's no convincing someone who has listened to as much talking heads as you have how bad they are. They just seem uber-contrived, pretentious and totally phony to me, but thats probably mostly to do with my particular life experience.

I think it was joke, brah.
...no I'm being completly honest about how terrible they are.

This is going in my signature. Brilliant.

People, I know you like to imagine that these bands are are crazy and edgy and unique but I'm here to tell you they aren't. They're bland as hell and are the kind of thing boring people listen to in an effort to seem interesting. Oh wow, you smoke pot? Whoopdie fucking doo. So does everybody else. It's like defining your taste in music by the fact that you eat french fries.

*Alarm Bells Ringing*- I like Widespread Panic, Phish & String Cheese Incident are alright. Just glad you didnt mention 'Tea Leaf Green' as they are insanely talented. Nothing wrong with a bit of jamming once in a while.

No, I was reffering to the first part of his post. Sorry I should have made it bold to make it easier for you.

Ah, so Westlife and Take That are br00tal metal then? I thought they were teeny-pop.
