Video Game Music?

Well, I'm a really big fan of video game music, Unreal Tournament music, Final Fantasy music, pretty much any game's music. The thing is, I have a really hard time finding music that sounds like video game music, but that isn't on a video game track. You know what I mean? Music that sounds similar to video game music, but that is made by a band, released on an album, and sold in stores.

Could someone at least tell me what genre I should be looking in? Maybe recommend a few band names?
