Default Your band sucks; just add _______

There's just some people that seem to make any band they play with better.

Blake Schwarzenbach
Ben Gibbard
Kinsella

I need more examples please.

Dan the Automator.

(I was sort of hoping for what Big3 suggested though -- laughs to be had with that one.)

I can think of too many bands that suck with someone, but none that seem to make them better.

So in your examples, were the bands ever without the mentioned singers so that you could actually say they sucked without them?

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

A few did (jawbreaker was shit w/o Blake). But that wasn't what I meant. Just heads that go from band to band and always come out with gold.

I didn't realize Jawbreaker was ever a band w/o Blake. Also, I have all of Jets to Brazil's albums but never really liked more than a couple of tracks from each. Even then, they weren't all that. They just never did much for me.

I enjoy Jets. Jawbreaker did "Etc." with a different singer. The only decent thing to come off that album was "kiss the bottle."

Steven Malmus was another.
