Sometimes when me and my house mate are bored we decide to devise a 60 minute playlist each, grab some drinks and put them on. It's a good way to hear some good new music you might not have heard, as well as having the fun of trying to make a good playlist of your music that runs nicely.
We usually choose a theme, although there doesn't have to be one. I made a trilogy of playlists being Colours, Numbers and Locations, whereby I only considered song titles which fit in with the theme. It made it a little more fun and at least narrowed down my music. I'll try and find them, think they're still on my iPod. Good way to kill a few hours in the Winter when bored. :o: |

If you get me. EDIT: And it all has to be fun music |
I made my extremely hard to please father a boxing C.D the other day because I was so tired of hearing the last one I made him. I also tried to slip a little diversity in this one because he is stuck on classic rock and a little change wouldn't kill him.
Here it is, in exact order 1. Misirlou - Dick Dale and his Del Tones 2. Cinderella - The Sonics (I have this one thanks to one of Comus's comps) 3. Green Onions - Booker T and the MGs 4. American Woman - The Guess Who 5. Izabella - Jimi Hendrix 6. Foggy Mountain Breakdown - Flatt & Scruggs 7. Immigrant Song - Zeppelin 8. Mambo Italiano - Renato Carosone (This one was a hit) 9. You're Gonna Miss Me - 13th Floor Elevators 10. Uncloudy Day - Willie Nelson 11. You Really Got Me - The Kinks 12. Oye Como Va - Santana (also a hit) 13. Gimme Back My Bullets - Lynyrd Skynyrd 14. Fire Woman - The Cult (thought I'd stealthily slip this in, but he noticed and didn't like it :( . I tried) 15. Five To One - The Doors 16. Attitude Adjustment - Hank Williams Jr. 17. Can You See Me - Jimi Hendrix 18. Jumpin Jack Flash - Rolling Stones 19. Trampled Underfoot - Led Zeppelin 20. The Healer - John Lee Hooker and Santana (for cooling down) He ended up liking it with an exception of a few songs out of his comfort zone that I threw on there, but overall, I was pretty happy with the results. |

I have made mixtapes for over 20 years and have decided not to put some poor unfortunate soul through the inner workings of my mind anymore.
