What are your 5 most influential Artists?

Okay so I have a list of 5 artists who have completely changed my life through their music...and in my opinion are the best of the best.

5. Janis Joplin- her music style was amazing, and her voice was soul wrenching.

4. Kurt Cobain- he had to be on this list, his work with Nirvana changed the music scene forever. Had he not have died, Nirvana may not have been as big as they are now. And the guitar riff for "Smells like Teen Spirit" is one of the greatest.

3. Jim Morrison- he was incredible...thats all that needs to be said.

2. Joey Ramone- The ramones...an amazing band...and Joey has such a good heart how could he not be on this list.

1. Bob Marley- one of the greatest artists of all time, he had the ability to change the world and i truly believe that. Redemption Song is the greatest song ever written in my opinion.

5-merle haggard-nothing much needs said about this genius, his words and music say it all. 4- hugh cornwell-incredibly very little is heard of him now, I was never a punk as such but he let me know that punk music can be fantastic, a great lyricist. 3-marty robbins, if you dont know much of him, just give him a try, my dad got me on to him and haggard and my dad puts him and haggard in the reverse order, but i dont, so there. 2-robbie kreiger, vastly underated and in my view in the same league as clapton, knopfler, harrison and page but i suppose the doors short carreer is a factor, the guy's immense, listen to L.A WOMAN. 1- THE ONE AND ONLY MR JAMES DOUGLAS MORRISON (POET) NUFF SAID.

1 Black Sabbath- this was one of the first bands i listened to and there just Heavy rock i loved it

2. Mike Patton- has a very good voice

Holy crap I never noticed that but you're right! Never would have guessed... Did you find that out yourself? Also, I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that Kurt Cobain dismissed that song as nothing more than a Pixies knock-off. (Although I still can't help but love the song).
