I've been a fan of theirs for many years but was put off a bit by the last album, don't listen to them nearly as much now (ok hardly ever). But there are moments in some of their older tracks that made me cringe a little too, though not this bad. I may think of them later.
I thought it'd be a lot worse. As yet another fan of Coheed, I'm sure I could come with with parts of songs that are more embarrassing than this one.

That "Woah Oh, Oh woah oh ou ah ou awh" or whatever part in Blood Red Summer was always embarassing to me...but I just skimmed through the song on YouTube and I guess I'm more used to it now. Not one of my favorite songs of theirs though, to be sure. One of the first really poppy ones.

In my opinion, the song is far too light for Coheed and Cambria as well as the video.
Other than the bridge, I'm not fond of the song in general.
It isn't comparible(sp?) to most of their other work. That song is just embarassing in general.

Yeah I agree, it really put me off when that album came out...too pop. But I liked the album a lot as a whole when it came out. Just not as much anymore.

I never minded the Whoah oh oh Whoah oh oh part.
Actually, No World For Tomorrow was chocked full of embarrassments.
Say what you will, but this is a waste of space, dammit. When I thought of House Atlantic getting owned, I was thinking something ALOT more epic.
While "On the Brink" is an outstanding track, they somehow figured it would be cool to do the "Hail!"'s.
I forget the actual number of them, and I remember that each hail was to represent a planet in the Keywork. Starts around 3:46, and lasts untill 4:44.
Horrible.
I haven't been a Coheed fan since about IKSSE3.
