The falsetto part in "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now" by the Smiths makes me cringe a little bit. xD

the last part of down with the sickness where he says the "no mommy" stuff as if he was a kid getting hit, its such a good song (even if it is super popular now) then that part comes on!

At least separate them, it just makes it awkward and annoying if you want to use them in a playlist or something!

Wu-Tang Clan.

The Persuit Of Vikings' music video is absolutely horrifying.

The 'I am Iron Man' bit at the beginning of the Sabbath song.
A 5 year old child pretending to be a dalek would do a better job.

Also the spoken word bit at the beginning of All Saint's Never Ever sounds like it was done by someone who really couldn't be arsed to do it convincingly.

Fixed ;)

Take it back, that was a great pop song.

It just had a really shit intro, that's all.

Phil Lynott's voice in War of the Worlds as the parson.
The Spirit of Man narrative bit.
He must have regretted that until the day he died.

dystopia - stress builds character

the bass intro, great... the vocals/spoken part is kind of embarassing.
the rest of the song is great.

oh god yeah, so STUPID

also, the part in BTBAM's Ants of The Sky 1 minute 23 seconds in; it's just cliche and cheesy to me.

I love that bit!

agree with you here, an otherwise good song marred by cringey moaning (would have been better if it didnt sound like he was under the bedsheets telling his mum he didnt wanna go to school)

Grotesque Head 10-02-2009 07:49 PM

Hypnotize by The Notorious B.I.G. - completely ruined by Puff Daddy being an ******* with his repeated "c'mon", "yeah", etc. in the background.

DanContogiannis 10-07-2009 01:34 PM

Okay this is really minor, but whatever. When Iron Maiden performs "Hallowed Be Thy Name" live, Bruce always adds in a little wimpy "yeah, yeah" that doesn't appear on the recorded version. It happens here:

Mark my words believe my soul lives on
Don't worry now that I have gone
I've gone beyond to see the truth (Bruce's weak "yeah, yeah")

Hear for yourself at about 3:28 in this video:

I can't listen to to this song live without laughing at that part. I didn't even notice it until a friend of mine pointed it out. The way Bruce delivers it is so unlike him. I don't know what the point of it is, but he's been doing it at every show for a long, long time.

LoathsomePete 10-07-2009 01:45 PM

This is an awesome song, but there's this part 25 seconds in where the vocalist changes from a death metal style vocals to this weird high pitched thing and says "Annihilate yourself". It's pretty much the only part of the song I dislike, but it does detract from it.

Arya Stark 10-07-2009 02:02 PM

Ohh, I was expecting little girl high.

I've heard stuff like that before, I guess it's different when you're really into the song.

right-track 10-07-2009 02:54 PM

@asshat...classic. :laughing:

You're kidding? It's that embarrassing...I was embarrassed for him.
The parson monologue is excruciating...it's not even funny like asshats examples.

Nope, not kidding.

Maybe its just because I was never really familiar with what he even sounded like before then, so I don't associate it with him as much as the song.

LOL! I always thought that was funny. It's meant to be funny, can't be embarrassing. ;) Well, that's not true. But to me it's funny and I like it.

Pillowmint 10-17-2009 01:42 PM

I would almost like Coheed and Cambria if not for there vocals... oh well

Lu_Galasso 10-19-2009 09:55 AM

There's a Toronto hip-hop artist called Chuggo whose music is almost completely embarrassing...I think the worst possible line in the history of music is when he says "I f*ck all day, that's why I stink". Cripes.
