Peter sings better on the studio version, I love the music and the lyrics are unconventional, everything about the song gives me goosebumps

Genesis- Fountain of the Salmacis

I get goosbumps when there's that dramatic pause and he says "I just believe in me". It's so raw, I love it.

Mogwai - Ratts of the Capital.

By far my favourite Mogwai song, the whole thing just makes the hairs stand up. The riff for one is just so beautiful, and when it really picks up towards the end and gets unbelievably heavy i'm near euphoric.

So rad, and you totally don't expect him to bust out the flute during that jam section of the song.

This song is the best in my favorite anime OST. I actually sorta get chills right at the start when the bagpipes open up...just cause I know its coming after the previous song ended. The part that really gets me though is at 1:24 when the bag pipes stop and the sax jumps in, while the flute just continues the whole time.

yeah at one time in the late 60's and early 70's the flute was the Rock n Roll numchucks the singer would whip out to slay the audience.

if this thread is talking about something being just "that good", then I have a big list, but I want to make a special mention, that nearly literally makes my hair stand
I have posted it in 'great intros thread', but it comes great here as well

If anyone is lazy to listen to entire song, start at least at 5:25(that's not the thing, the actual thing comes several minutes later, but it's a must to listen from here)

Speaking of Genesis, many hair raisers for me personally. (excuse the crappy vids)

Also "Chamber Of 32 Doors" but I can't find a vid that's not by a tribute band or with a different singer.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

around the 4:20 mark. but it doesn't work if you just skip to it.

"And Laughed at himself, he felt he knew what that was."

then the guitar kicks in...

when the horn kicks in around 5:50. same as last, you need to listen to full song for full effect.

The "Elephant Love Medley" from the movie Moulin Rouge. I love this movie, and if you've seen it you probably already know the hair-raising part I'm referring to.
Basically the whole scene is Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman singing various love songs to each other, while walking around the inside of a giant elephant shaped building.
It's all very good and fun, but if you wanna see chill-inducing part, go to 3:15ish and watch from there on. They go from singing, "We could be hero's" and then at 3:25 the tempo slows just a little bit and Ewan starts singing, "I will always love yoouuuuuuu." The window behind them bursts into fireworks, and the camera starts spinning around them. The imagery definitely helps, but yeah...I could rewind that little bit 10 times in a row and get chills every time.
