Default Top Ten Artists of All Time?

I know this is a really hard thing to do, this was quite a quick list that I made, and I tried to make a list that was open to all genres of music, I am very open minded musically and I do listen to a lot of different stuff but I would just like to say this list was compiled very quickly.
Ok, here goes.

1 Michael Jackson
2 The Beatles
3 Queen
4 Take That
5 Oasis
6 AC/DC
7 Tupac Shakur
8 Jimi Hendrix
9 N.W.A
10 Bruce Springsteen

Give us your own lists, congratulate me, or criticise me on mine and stuff.
Cheers

Your list lacks any Jazz or Classical artists, so it fails. Resoundingly.

You have like 3 genres on that list. Is this suppose to be what you believe to be the greatest or a list of your favorites? Either way having Take That over Bruce Springsteen is like having Nickelback over The Rolling Stones.

Although Take That aren't exactly my cup of tea, (neither are Nickelback or Bruce Springsteen) they have been very successful and Gary Barlow is a very, very good song writer, The Boss has more of a cult following in my opinion, I mean compared to Take That and some of the other artists up there.
I also did stress that the list was compiled very quickly.
Can you make a better list? :P

I'm sure the cult following which bought 25 million copies of Born In The USA would agree heartily,as would those who reguarly pack out his arena shows.

We've got a billion of these threads lying around, please do a search before creating a thread like this, preferably on google because our search function sucks.

http://www.musicbanter.com/punk/1944...-own-risk.html

http://www.musicbanter.com/rock-meta...tal-bands.html

http://www.musicbanter.com/rock-meta...ands-ever.html

http://www.musicbanter.com/rap-hip-h...p-artists.html

http://www.musicbanter.com/country-f...y-artists.html

http://www.musicbanter.com/general-m...lbums-you.html

All of which are on the front pages of almost every thread on music.

Closed.
