simple, elegant, and powerful. its looks like an album that should be in your collection

Worst: Rolling Stones - dirty work

throwaway 80's bull****. It's like everything I hated about the 80's was captured on the cover

Nice thread. Now I can show the two picks for the last Music Trading Post where nobody reviewed my choices.

The theme was favorite covers...here's the two that I sent:

Chick Corea - Time Warp

Lords of Acid - Voodoo U
Moderator cut: image removed

As for worst, I realized that even though this album was my favorite of last year, the cover might be the blandest ever created:

La Roux - La Roux

Only thing keeping me from just falling asleep when I look at that, is the font they picked had that sorta cool lightning bolt looking thing coming off the 'r'.

(As for the poll, I picked the top option. Cover art, and even the inlay art can add so much to an albums personality. I could write a whole essay about how I feel about album art, but I might save that for my journal I think.)

lords of acid...wow haven't heard them in years. an interesting band, but every song being about sex gets a little old. i feel like i contracted something just listening to it.
