Good oul Damien Rice.. anyone?
 

hullo..anyone ever hear of Damien Rice? Irish? Well if you havent look him up. Hes ****ing cool. www.damienrice.com He does that song for that bollocks flim "closer". i only went to see it to hear that song! anyone like him? Hes EXCELLENT live. does some real unique performances.

the thing with that bloody album is at times its absolutely inspired and euphoric and other times its the most boring, mundane tripe ive ever heard. its just so inconsistent- the good bits are truely great nontheless.

I still think his album O was fantastic, a few faves

i think he is genious, and the girl that sings with him is amazing, she is shy, but i think deserves more credit.

He's ok. I couldn't sit around and listen to him or anything but he's a decent songwriter.

I Love Damien's voice. O is a really really good album. Great songwriter as well.

Thought I would resurrect a Damien Rice thread for kicks.
I bought Live From The Union Chapel last night and now regret not listening to him more :(

He's really intense live, although I think he might have been a tad inebriated last time I saw him play.

Love his work.

Especially the live stuff I've heard.
