I can't count by songs. I have about 2,000 CDs, including a lot of singles and EPs, and about 20 LPs, left over from my LP-buying days. I think I maybe have 18 songs downloaded on my computer. But I'm not a big downloader (obviously), since I'm one of those weirdos who actually likes to *hold* a CD in her hands, read album notes and look at album artwork.

Not at all a weirdo, I have the same thing with LP's.
I don't really like buying CD's. A FLAC on my PC sounds just as good and I don't care about the plastic box. It doesn't feel as a work of ar for me

So how do the people that have 10k+ songs manage their listening habits? I find I don't listen to lot of what I have. Not by choice so much but I get sort of overwhelmed by how much music I have.

I usually just play what I want to hear, sometimes click something I haven't heard for a long time on purpose

I don't know how many songs but I have 275 digital albums and I add more all the time.
I have 35 CDs. 5 of them are crap and the rest of them were converted to digital a long time ago but will probably get more spintime after I start driving.

Not a very impressive collection at all but I'm an enthusiastic n00b.

I'm at just over 26K songs in my collection for now. Expanding all the time. Total playtime is 12 weeks and 1 day,with some loose change hours and minutes.
