Funeral song
what song would you have played at your funeral?
mine- without a doubt, would be "who wants to live forever" by queen....not only is it apt, but im thinking it would make your family members feel a whole lot happier! |
There was this daft punk song.....which name evades me ill have to check up, it was synthesised, utter beauty of a song, no lyrics just 2 or 3 minutes of this solumn chiming, would suit the mood perfectly. Either that or the other extreme, 'Paradise City' - Guns'n'Roses, cause thats where im going, and its one of my favourite songs. :afro:

think i kno the daft punk song your on about. another lame one id have "blaze of glory" by bon jovi- just for pure cheesy, dramatic effect.

A friend of my brothers died recently and they played 'Smack my Bitch Up' by the Prodigy in the church. Surreal doesn't come close.
I'd like to have 'Somewhere over the Rainbow' sang at my funeral by my ex, because she does a wonderful rendition of it, and that'd be nice. |
'Veridis Quo' that song is called. Beautiful. :band:
|
YMCA by the Village people.
|
Final Countdown- Europe................couldnt resist.....
yeah, seriously though.... Road Trippin'- Red Hot Chili Peppers |
Did we already have a thread like this?
Otis Redding - Aint no sunshine when she's gone |
I would have to say that I would be at a draw between Sid Vicious's version of My Way, or Time of Your Life by Green Day.
