"Dirt in the Ground" by Tom Waits seems appropriate though probably too much of a downer.

If it were my family I would say a substantial chunk of them would be familiar with Tom Waits.

I just went to a funeral where they played "I Can't Drive 55" as the funeral was ending and everyone was going up to look at the casket and say sorry to the family. It was lovely.
