There are exceptions, obviously. I know IRL a woman who loves The Fall and another who used to be obsessed with Primus. But I would not count on them if music plays a central role in your social identity, including in courtship of women, and you want to score.

Live shows are different, I think, cause they're social events.
I think, put in perspective, nobody is listening to The Fall

but women, in my experience, do like the Fall (indeed they've almost always been part of The Fall) for similar reasons as your other weird example of Can (who also have a significant female audience)
Just another marketing ploy

Are beehives and ant colonies unnatural? Cause they cooperate on a level we could hardly dream of.

If most of those people not listening to The Fall heard The Fall they wouldn't like them.

What does this mean? That women like the Fall because there's been a few women as members of the group over their 40 year history?

Yeah you know how the womenfolk always google the lineup of whatever they listen to before deciding how they feel about it.
Studies show that when a given norm is changed in the face of the unchanging, the remaining contradictions will parallel the truth.
