Well he didn't specify famous ones. But yes there are quite a few, like Paul McCartney and Dick Dale.

ok Kurt is one of a quite a few lefties.

Left handed gutiarist are funny bunch, some play right hand guitars as if they're right handed, some play left handed but with right-handed tuning, the strings are inverted like Dick Dale, and most of them play left-handed guitars with left-handed tuning.

I think Kurt and Hendrix are the most talked about ones for being left handed. Especially Hendrix 'cause he played a right handed guitar, left handed. (I think, not into Hendrix so not too sure, sure someone on here would be the first to correct me though ) I never knew Brian Jones and Morrison were left handed..
