It's probably the darkest & most punchiest album they ever recorded. In fact I don't think there's a single ballad on it.

I can go through the whole thing without skipping a single track, which is something I can't say for loads of 'non cheesy' bands.

Even though I am not a big Van Halen fan I still love Why Can't This Be Love as it was the right song at the right time (1986).
