Does anyone know if any music shops offer previews

I'm looking for a web shop that sells music in the form of music downloads or cd's that also offers previews for the music before you buy?

Anyone help out on this one?

What do you mean by previews? You can listen to samples on most sites (Amazon, iTunes, etc.).

I'm a web app developer and I'm looking for a website that I can become an affiliate of. I'd like to tap into the free previews that they offer and bring them some sales.

I've checked around on Amazon for affiliate stuff and web services that they offer but they do not seem to have an API for accessing the song previews.

Last.fm does that. They generally have 30 second clips. If Amazon/other sites in the vein of Amazon don't have them (which I was pretty sure they did...), YouTube is also a good source of independently seeking out clips. Although it's more tedious, it's a good way.

Thanks so much for the help, I'm signing up for last.fm right now, they look good and yes they definitely have an API available and without even hunting around their website I was able to find the API link at the bottom of their site, excellent.

As for Amazon and itunes, they better learn some lessons from last.fm
