Default Skye Edwards is back with Morcheeba ?!?!

i just found out, i had no idea! Morcheeba's last two albums just weren't the same without Skye singing...

apparently they've been back together since the first of the year, even playing gigs. they have a new ablum due out 7th June - Blood Like Lemonade

Fortunately she's put out a couple of excellent solo albums during her hiatus from the band, but I must say I'm very, very, very glad to know that the 'true' Morcheeba is back in business

I have never checked out her solo albums- worth a listen?

I have always found Morcheeba a little 'too' coffee table for me as in that they are not atmospheric enough although I do have Fragments Of Freedom on C.D

her solo albums lean more towards happy electro pop, so if you find Morcheeba to be tough, then you probably won't appreciate them.

though this track from her latest solo Keeping Secrets is pretty wicked:

but as for Morcheeba, definitely get their first album, Who Can You Trust?
it's the most trip hop of the lot, and i think you'd dig it.

To be honest, before seeing this thread I didn't realise Morcheeba was anything more than a one-hit wonder act (that Rome Wasn't Built in a Day song from the 90s). This Trigger Hippie track is pretty chill so I'll check out some more.
