The Album That Will Finally Destroy Your Ears.

As music fans, it is very likely that at some point we will experience some degree of hearing loss. Be it from blasting music from speakers, or abusing your headphones, some hearing damage is bound to come our way.
So let's embrace it and share some ear drum rupturing albums that are far too good to turn down! :tramp:

The Mars Volta- De-loused in the Comatorium
You all must get sick and tired my ramblings of this band, but oh well.
What makes this album so volatile to the your hearing is not necessarily the style of music (noisy prog rock with high pitched shrieking); it's the amount of layering that goes into the album. Under the surface of any song, you can find little themes, hidden melodies and rhythms. The louder you turn it up, the more you can hear these hidden motives. The temptation to turn it up overrides common sense, and ear aches occur.

Daughters-Daughters
Daughters uses the layering concept described above, but not to the same degree. However, the music itself is much more abrasive and sometimes even painful to listen to. I can't even listen to the (relatively short) album all the way though, as great as it is.

I know that some of the stuff you guys will post will make my albums look like Sgt Peppers, so have at it!

Yeah the Daughters are f*cking crazy.

Anyway. Songs About F*cking is the most ear piercing album I can think of at the moment, the guitar tone is like a razor blade.

Please, that's all entry level stuff. Bah! We need some post-music in here.

Ladies and gentlemen, Mahmoud Awad and his fabulous debut, Sheikh to the Future!

Great choice, stellar album and one of my favorites of this year. However, I can listen to it the whole way through, biiiitch. :pimp:

As great as De-Loused is, I would much rather lose my hearing to The Bedlam In Goliath. :D

I thinking more in terms of music though.

Obvious choices for me

Not just this album but every album they've made is raw enough to make your throat bleed uncontrollably just by hearing the ungodly vocals

A strange mix of all kinds of metal but the common thread is speed and intensity with LOTS of emotion

I needed to post at least one Hardstyle song. Screeches, reverse bass, and free of melodies. The good days.

Dubstep is something that one must take caution with due to BASS DESTRUCTION

Benga-Diary of an Afro Warrior

Bar 9-Bar 9 In Da Mix

Can't forget Stoner Metal either

Acid King-Busse Woods

and of course who can forget

Electric Wizard-Funerolopolis

I knew someone would beat me to this. When i first saw the name of this thread, i immediately thought "Electric Wizard."

I was just explaining to James yesterday how i used to listen to Electric Wizard on the bus on the way to work but i would give myself a headache before i got there.

This is the culprit.
