I love them both.

This silly website is trying to be edgy. I'm nearly as mainstream as they come and I had not heard the track that took the top spot until today. Not overrated, although the Pixies can do better and the lyrics leave a lot to be desired.

Yorke might have agreed with "Creep"; I've read he had a deep hatred for that song & RH didn't play it for years.

Phil Spector's wall of sound orchestration was a bit overblown on 'Winding Road, but it's not a bad song.

I've never really "gotten" the Beatles - and for me, Hey Jude is one of the longest, most boring pieces of music ever.

I don't understand why they felt the need to put so many songs by the same artists on the list. I feel like I'd understand the list better if they at least made an effort not to **** on just a handful of musical acts...

And if they didn't feel the need to top the list with The Pixies. What...?

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Agreed. And The Pixies shouldn't be on there, I'm pretty sure I've never heard anybody outside of this forum talk about them. As for the rest of the list, I really like most of the songs on there, but I understand why they would be put on an overrated list.

Except for The Long and Winding Road. Really, thats the Beatles song on there? thats got to be one of my favorites of theirs, and they have soooo many other songs that receive far more air time but aren't anything special (Get Back....)

Take "Light my Fire" off and throw I Can't Get No (Satisfaction) and you got yourself a list.
