Are Musicians A*sholes By Nature?
 

I mean, in order to be truly great, you almost have to be a self-involved prick and really have to believe in what you're doing. if you read up on a lot of great musicians, the one thing they have in common is that they're all *******s.

There are a great number of musicians that are not assholes at all. About as many as there are assholes who aren't musicians.

I don't think great musicians are necessarily assholes but I would agree that the nature of a lot of musicians tends to lend themseves to it. For example, a lot of musicians are quite self-indulgent which can easily lead to them wanting things to sound exactly how they want it rather than what everyone else wants, causing conflicts.

Not by today's standards. If you're famous today, you likely have a gaping maw of an anus, and have beaten up no one.

MSI collectively probably did have to suck a gaggle of cocks to get to where they're at, but I don't think it necessarily holds true for talented individuals with a strong business sense. Being an asshole can also be counterproductive to your success.
