How often do you have to get high on music to keep from going insane?

hi all

I have to listen to at least 20 minutes of music just about every day, or I get really stressed.

Regards

Whenever I'm in a situation where it's possible to listen to music, I usually am. So I listen to several hours of music a day. However, I only really listen to music for about 30 minutes a day. Usually this occurs at the gym or in bed before I go to sleep, where I can really focus on what I'm listening to.

I try to listen to at least an hour of it a day and some of it has to be fairly new to me or else I just feel weird.

Truthfully, I feel a little bit more sane if I do something cool on a weekend that doesn't involve me listening to music on my own. Meaning, going for a hike in the mountains or something. But I'm otherwise too addicted to not listen to music as much as humanly possible. So I'll remain insane.

I know this sounds weird, but my day feels empty and dull if I don't listen to music.
It's not that I go insane, it's just that it keeps me from getting bored and a massive ****ing headache. I usually start off with two hours of music in the morning, another hour at noon, and the rest of the day isn't planned, but It has some playing time as well.

About three or four CDs worth, and maybe some surfing through new bands on places like MySpace. Seriously. It used to be at least two B Flicks on DVD for a while, but I had that urge to go back to music just recently, and I have many years backing me up on this (about 30).
