Could you be anymore stereotypical?

I think there's something you're not telling us...maybe you have a thing for male librarians?!

Yes yes yes! You get an album in 5 minutes. Easy and free.

Is downloading even an issue now? I have respect for people who want to keep it legal, but with some simple precautions it should be easy for everyone to download to their heart's content. Besides, I have more respect for bands that support free downloading. It should be the norm these days. The record label industry is dead.

I really love music of all genres and styles, and I mean ALL styles. But I recently looked at my bank account balance to find I had spent way too much on music downloads and CDs. How can I still listen to great music from different genres without going bankrupt or going all illegal???

I figured it out.

Realize that albums are generally **** and just buy songs. I make better album choices than artists do constantly.

Seconded. What are you, an iTunes user? ;)

ArtistConnection 11-21-2010 10:43 AM

Obviously, the easiest thing to do is to download the music for free. However, if you do not want to go the illegal route. Then there are plenty of resources on the internet for free downloads. Sure, it might not be downloads of high profile artists and songs, but it is music.

I can't stress this enough. At one time I was going to the Goodwill weekly to look through the record section. I never found a great deal of stuff, but its still worth a shot.

bert1987 11-22-2010 03:52 PM

Amazon has some good deals

Paedantic Basterd 11-22-2010 04:17 PM

I can get everything but new releases for less than 5 bucks on Amazon. Even then, you just have to give them a few months for the price to come down.

Why don't you go download the hottest new dance track from Tom Waits, wiseass.

Dirty 11-22-2010 09:27 PM

Go into a CD store, take a ski mask and lots of trash bags. Clip the wires to the security system. Steal all the CDs.

A lot of the time Amazon has really good deals on their MP3 albums. This summer they had a huge selection of albums for five dollars, I bought seven freaking hours of both Chopin and Bach for ten measly dollars... ten bucks for fourteen hours of music. Also, you might want to look around town for a store that sells used CDs, you can get great deals there (especially with older stuff).

You realize it's very easy to find ****loads high quality classical music on the internet for free all over the place. I mean, nobody has copyright on it, it's all over the place.
