But my all-time favorite incredible cover is David Lang's avant-garde performance of Lou Reed & VU's "I'm Waiting for My Man" that appears exclusively on the Amelia DVD by La La La Human Steps. Edouard Lock and his experimental dance troop produced some wildly original works between 1980 and their retirement in 2015 (due to lack of funding.) I've just secured a copy of the famous DVD. It came at a hefty price but will be treasured for years to come. |
