^^I'm very curious about what songs have you put there and how many. Does your comp cover their whole career?

I put a song on from each of their albums (apart from their s/t because I don't have that, and I didn't touch bsides/ep's/any of the SYR stuff). So it was 15 tracks long. I'm not at home atm so I don't have the comp to hand but I think the tracklisting was..

Kill Yr. Idols
Death Valley '69
Tom Violence
Schizophrenia
Hey Joni
Dirty Boots
Drunken Butterfly
Bull In The Heather
Becuz
Sunday/The Ineffable Me (I had a hard time choosing between these two but I can't remember which one I picked, I'm sure it was the former though)
Side2side
The Empty Page
Pattern Recognition
Incinerate
Sacred Trickster

^Yeah! My mix would be different, but that's the thing, so many great songs to choose from.

Out of interest, what would your mix look like if you were to follow the same concept?

It's extremely tough for me to choose one song per album this fast and without listening how it all flows together, but here it is:

The Good and the Bad
(She's In A) Bad Mood
Brother James
Flower
Expressway To Yr Skull
Pacific Coast Highway
The Sprawl
Tunic (Song For Karen)
Wish Fulfillment
Bull in the Heather
Washing Machine
Snare, Girl
Free City Rhymes
Karen Revisited
Dripping Dream
Incinerate
Massage the History

From many albums I could probably choose different songs and emphasize something else in their sound.

Good recommendation, thank you.
i'm glad you could at least get into it....Headhunter i think is probably their biggest hit...and for good reason

in all honesty he's right....not exactly the perfect introduction to the genre....but still an idea
