A seriously under-rated musician, RIP.
Karn deserves all the respect for being one of the most innovative Bassists of all time who's style has been one of the most often imitated from The 80's on. His Reed playing (Sax, Oboe) topped the music perfectly.

For those reading and asking for a good first listen, Japan's Tin Drum is the right place to start the adventure. Gentlemen Take Polaroids is another great Japan album to hear.

The Dali's Car EP The Waking Hour recorded with Peter Murphy and Paul Lawford is not as great, but it does offer more examples of Karn's excellent musicianship. This would have been a great time to re-start the project, but I'm seriously saddened to see this will never happen.

Heard about this other day. The guy was simply one of the best - an absolute giant of a musician.

We'll miss him now he's gone

Karn was a musicians, musician,
Sad that he doesn't have the kind of fame his talent deserved.

Another good'un gone.
