Ronald Shannon Jackson > list.
|
wow glearing omission
Billy Cobham> that than whole list put together and then some |
Neil Peart is always over rated on these lists because he sits behind an over-sized drum kit.
Drummers that Neil Peart should never be rated higher than in any way shape or form: Charlie Watts Ringo Starr Ginger Baker Keith Moon Jim Keltner John Bonham Jim Gordon Levon Helm Mitch Mitchell Al Jackson Kenny Jones Russ Kunkel Carmine Appice There's probably a lot more but that's just off the top of my head. |
woah a terrible magazine made a bad list since when

Quote:
That being said, he's on my top ten list. This is tough, but I want some Mitch Mitchell for sure. |
I think Brandon Saller should get an honorable mention. Singing and playing drums at the same time can't be easy.
Also Don Henley for the same reason. |
Jazz pretty much owns the list:
Albeit, very special mentions to Tatsuya Yoshida, Christian Vander, Brian Chippendale, and Dave Lombardo who are all personal favorites of mine in (somewhat) more rock settings. |
Neil Peart should be first!
