It was written by Max Martin who has written all the biggest pop hits including N'Sync's.

I don't mind that song. It's probably not something I'd go out of my way to listen to but it's a fairly well constructed pop song with a nice build to a satisfying chorus.

I listened to that like 20 times in one day a few months back cause the TV was on MTV Classic and I was too busy doing other things to remember to change the channel and this song happens to be the theme song for "The Hills" too. It's pretty terrible, I agree.

I vividly remember getting my braces taken off at the orthodontist (I was in middle school), and hearing this song play.

Anyways, I completely understand why people dislike it, and I want to dislike it myself, but it has a super satisfying catchy chorus hahaha , had to listen to it when I saw this post.

I used to have that song on one of my cheer me up type playlists. Always makes me feel better. Great song with an nice build up.

Ahhh man, seriously? It's catchy, but its more fun to mock than sincerely enjoy.

Of course that godforsaken song would be so divisive! I understand that it has a catchy chorus and is overall an inoffensive pop song, but I still loathe it with every fiber of my being. So, I'll expect it to be playing repeatedly (a mildly distorted Kidz Bop version, of course) as I enter hell's waiting lobby someday.

DJcham: Nuh uh! I DO enjoy uplifting fun songs! Almost as much as I enjoy horrifically depressing songs, in fact. I'm picky about my milquetoast pop music.

Batlord: Exactly. Shania Twain and a few select others are allowed. I don't make the rules!

Of course I am. *points* It says so right there!

I have not listened to his new album, no. Why, is it very spooky? As mayor of spookytown I am only permitted to listen to spooky music (Castlevania soundtracks, 1930s blues songs about being tortured by the devil, 50s rockabilly halloween music, Donny & Marie Osmond songs slowed 800% etc etc)
(..WHY did pop groups of the 90s and early 2000s never make halloween albums? They made Christmas albums; why not halloween?!? That would have been INCREDIBLE.)
