Well, the only position in a band that I usually don't see taken by a woman are the drums. I see women playing guitars and basses all of the time in music. It's just I feel like all female bands are looked at as exotic and since all members of the band are female people make a big deal about it. Granted I've done this with OOIOO and now that I think about it, I was stupid to have made it part of their description. It really doesn't matter who plays what to me, as long as it sounds good I don't care.

this is a complete false and unthought opinion.
all that gets into the top40 got their by their musicianship alone.

I tend to like them, but usually get very annoyed at the ones who are overly obsessed with fitting the image the media creates.
