It was horrendous. Really very, very bad.
No. But if you think those are bad, you should check out the others. So much of it just sounds like banal pop music. Those are the only ones I'd heard that sounded different.

Yeah I've seen it before.
I realised these were pretty good songs considering it's the eurovision song context. But they're still... meh, uninspired.
I'd say Italy has a rather nice song, altough it's really simple. The vibe is quite allright. But France has the better singer. He actually seems to be able to sing.

I dunno, from these three I think my vote goes to france.

Yeah I'm not saying they're all that great, but definitely better than most of the others. I like Italy's cause it sounds markedly Italian, which is fantastic. I wish more countries embraced their roots instead of just making a pop track. France's singer is indeed talented. What a voice.

Default Eurovision Song Contest 2011

Azerbaijan will be an interesting venue indeed. The Caspian Sea is a lake but a very big one. They are one of the only countries that can afford to host it with the oil they boast. Not a bad winner either as their song was decent.

Eurovision was much better this year because it was more of a song contest and less political. The voting was much closer and it was only really at the end that Azerbaijan started to pull away a little. Sweden did not suprise me finishing third with their Justin Bieber but Italy were shock second place finishers with a pretty poor song. Greece also did better than expected.

Moldova and Bosnia were amongst the poor acts. Well done to Blue and Jedward on finishing in the left hand side of the table, a very respectable effort even if both the performances were poor to say the least. Enjoyable evening on the whole and my decision to watch Eurovision over Britain's Got Talent was a justifiable one!

I'm going to merge this with the existing Eurovision thread.

What is it with the French? The only country who's representative refuses to give the results in English.
Do they really believe the rest of Europe actually know what they're talking about?
