Talking Have you ever been hit emotionally by a song?

Personally I avoid music based on Sadness, Addiction & Love... but I think I'm gonna change this after this song.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

lol exactly.

I'd also worry when I start to measure how manly I am based only on how many love songs I've listened to.

Why you gotta be hating on the thread mr emotional.

Yep this song about a young boy and the passing of his father always makes me tear up a little.

I'm not hating (maybe I am a little :p), but all songs will hit you emotionally.... how often have you heard a song and had zero reaction at all? Some you fall in love with, some you hate, some make you happy, some make you cry, some make you laugh, some make you want to kill the singer!

There are many songs that don't hit me. Some bands are just awful enough to warrant no response emotionally for me. kajagoogoo, mr mister, Milli vanilli, Poison, I could go on all day. I don't have the energy to hate them, because they just aren't worthy of the effort. I think he was implying what songs merit an emotional reaction and the reasons for feeling that way. Granted there are probably three threads like this already.

But even the mild dislike and disdain you have for those songs are emotions, just a 'this isnt really worth listening to' is a feeling about a song. Going off of what he has posted in the OP, and what he's sai, he isnt actually looking for songs that made you have emotional reactions... he's looking exclusively for love songs!

Lets assume he isnt though. This one gets me, it just makes me relax and feel really happy

No he said what songs hit you emotionally and its actually titled that, so i'm gonna politely disagree with you. And i listen to stuff without attachment of any kind all the time. For example if i'm at a party and someone puts on something i've never heard, i'll listen to it. I don't have to have any type of attachment to it to listen to it. Perhaps he can shed some light on exactly what he meant with the original post.
