Songs that remind you of other things

Everyone has songs that remind them of ex's or places or anything else besides the songs themselves because we, as human beings, relate everything to other things. That's how we work. But what are some of those songs and what do they remind you of?

For example: "Colorblind" by Counting Crows

This song reminds me of my current boyfriend for a few different reasons. a.) Together, we made a mixed CD for his mother and we surveyed tons of songs. This song was one of the songs that made the cut. b.) I was playing this one day when he came home and he told me that it reminded him of me because of this, which in turn, automatically makes me think of him too.

Tell me your stories!

You know, bit strange to start with, but it's funny you should mention counting crows.
I actually lost my virginity while August & Everything After was playing.
Good times :D.

I can't really decide if you've ruined or improved my enjoyment of that album. Maybe somewhere in between

This song reminds me of my ex. Used to hike every weekend and we would play this album by the fire and cuddle while we drank hot chocolate. Yeah adorable I know.

Haha, am I grossing you out that much? :D.
No it was really sweet. Fwiw: I cannot even remember exactly what song was playing. I just remember it was that CD. And maybe another one, had a CD changer on my bedroom back then.
No it was really sweet. I was 19 and I was to become 20 that night. So I actually lost my virginity whilst turning 20 (we took our time ;)) . Wasn't planned that way, but it's fun when you think about it

*sigh*
Good times.

Well that's what this thread is all about.
Allright, another one, the song "Seven years" by the Indeclinable Ambuscade. Not good, not good at all. But it reminds me to drinking wine in the park, getting to know good music. Back then, I couldn't stand 'loud' music. But I liked that song when it was played on an acoustic guitar by one of our hippies :D. Since I couldn't play the guitar myself, I had to live with the original version, which is a punk song. This really got me into listening to 'different' music. Important days.

Funny you should say that, again.
My ex-girlfriend, the same of the story above, bought me a Natalie Merchant CD long before we got together. Another link.

I just saw a posting about sublime's Santeria in this topic, but it has already been deleted. Another good story. I met this girl when I was out. She was sitting on the floor, feeling down. I asked her if she wanted to get some pizza with me. She agreed and we've been friends ever since. That was 11 years ago. Anyway, she was a really big Sublime fan and I cannot listen to sublime without thinking about her. And here comes the link with my ex again. Back then she admitted that she was interested in me. But I just started a relationship with the girl that's now my ex girlfriend. Well that's spring 2004, so also quite a long time ago.
Eitherway, I hope these feelings of her come back some day. She would be a brilliant girlfriend for me, even after all those years :D

ugggggggghhhhh....

Well speaking of x's.....

I have to ask this Sk...did you have candles lit that night and did you cry afterwards? Were the words..."your in my soul" used?

This one's a bit weird. Tetragrammaton by The Mars Volta reminds me of celebrating christmas up at my aunt's house in northern minnesota. I have no idea why. Just in case you haven't heard it.

Well I lost my virginity while REM's Automatic for the People was playing, and that was shortly after I turned 20. Completely changed the way I experience that album now
