The MB Member's Original Song Contest #1
 

After some thinking I have decided to change the content of this song competition. First I apologize to the few of you that already submitted something. You may still use it if you wish, or just edit it, or start over...your choice (sorry for any extra work but not enough people turned things in)

The new rule will be that there is no rules except the 1 minute minimum.. If your song falls under 1:00 then it can not be entered. It can be about anything you please, and using whatever means to record it create as long as it was done by you (or you and friends).



TODAY IS JUNE 3rd. CONTEST WILL BE OVER ON June 13th. This gives everyone 10 days to submit or resubmit there entry via PM to yours truly.

The turnout for this is ****ing terrible. I have received two entries. I am going to extend this for a few more days. Surely you people have something to write about the website you spend your precious time on.

I have something I was thinking about, I just don't know whether or not i'll be to lazy to finish it.

I definitely think increasing the time would help. Writing and recording a song (that one actually likes) in 3 days is challenging, especially if there are only a couple hours out of those days to work on it! Didn't the last MB "MusicBanter Song" contest last at least a week?

Rez, I recommend starting the contest on a Saturday and giving it a full 2 weeks, plus mentioning it in the Songwriter section so more people notice.

I kind of have something half-decent nearly finished, it's not quite turning out the way I wanted though. I'll try and upload it sometime tomorrow or Thursday.
