Is anyone going to see Alexisonfire Vs Rise Against this Wednesday??
 

Hmph wasn't quite sure where to post this. At first I thought the Rock/Metal room but then later decided against it, the Punk and Emo forums seemed like the obvious choice but I couldn't make my mind up so here I am. Well anyhow I just got some tickets to see Alexisonfire vs Rise Against at the islington academy in London this Wednesday, YAY. I've never seen them live before, only recently got into them because a few people had suggested they were 'much' better than FINCH (which I don't entirely agree with, subsequently going to see Finch in June I think). So is anyone here going?

No, but Ive got loads of friends who are seeing both Rise Against and Alexisonfire today. Along with Funeral for a friend, Finch, Emanuel, Brand New, Coheed, etc... It SUCKS I was gonna go aswel, now I just have to make do with hearing it over the phone :(

Erk, well have fun at the gig anyway, it'll be awesome.

How annoying, how come you have to hear about it over the phone? Aren't you in London?

Nope, Im all the way down in Cornwall, basically at the end of the country. It takes about 5 hours for me to get up to London and Ive got some lame speaking exam tomorrow so I wouldnt get home till about 4 in the morning... Its really annoying, Finch are the love of my life and I cant see them :(

Oh well, she'll be phoning me in a couple of hours, so at least I'll hear them playing live I guess... Thats something.. *Breaks down and cries*
