Get music year software

Hi I've just received a music library of over 5000 songs with no meta data, I've managed to use iTunes to do the album art and other software for album, artist, etc. so i organize my music by year and music that is released after the year 2000 i sort as genres but i need to know what year all these songs were released so i can organize them. I haven't yet found any software to do this and i am certainly not manually doing it so don't suggest that.
i'm pretty sure there is some software out there, i just need someone that has already found some to post it to me.

thanks in advance to anyone who suggests something.

ps. preferably windows but worst comes to worst it can be mac PPC based.
