How do YOU Promote Your Band's Shows?
 

From one musician to another, we should definitely discuss some unique ways you've promoted your shows that ended up with a great turnout.

Did you make video blogs? Did you go and hand out flyers? Did you go busking outside the streets? Feel free to share ANY ideas :)

You could try having your vocalist blow his brains out with a shotgun and then the rest of the band could eat his brains and make necklaces out of his skull fragments. Oh, and then have your bassist stab your guitarist to death. It worked for Mayhem.

But be sure that you can do this in front of a large audience, this sort of thing only works once, twice if you're lucky.

And there is an outside chance that your bassist might become a neo-nazi and make better records than you while he's in prison.
