^ Have to agree with Fred. Bleach is their best by far. It's also my favorite.

Cool album, but musically it was like Nirvana's fetus. They hadn't really developed their sound beyond just plain grunge yet. In Utero ****s on it. Though "Blew" is one of my fav Nirvana songs of all time.

I like Bleach for that raw grunge garage sound though. Nevermind and In Utero were more crisp and the production was obviously better, but Nirvana to me will always be that underground Seattle grunge band.

But Kurt was such a great pop songwriter. Plain ol' grunge didn't let him truly do his thing.

Nevermind and In Utero are in no ways bad. I like them, quite a bit. I thought he was a great songwriter regardless, but when it all boils down, it's just led to personal preference.

I never wanted to hear pop songs from Nirvana, he'll never be David Bowie. He should have stuck with that raw power of Bleach, maybe he'd still be alive today. Less touring when your not a big pop star.
