Default Opening Acts that lasted longer than the Headliner? :/

There was a game called Episode: Demi Lovato, Path To Fame where Demi's Protege, the Protagonist (The Protagonist is named whatever the player names her, most likely the Player's real name,) gets her own Tour. The Protagonist chooses from three young aspiring singers to be her Opening Acts. Kayla, a sweet girl, Jazmine, a good singer, Trey , a heartthrob boy. I chose Trey as I thought he seemed cool and had the potential to be a big star.

His Original Song turned out to be cheesy and sounded like a joke and I thought,"Trey doesn't seem all that cool anymore," and I regretted choosing Trey. Jazmine's Original Song sounded GOOD and like a song that could be a popular song that's on the Radio. I changed my choice to Jazmine only to be backstabbed by the Producer who was like,"Jazmine sounds way better than Trey, I signed her to my own Agency without telling you anything! Good luck with Trey! Goodbye!" WTF! :/ So, the Protagonist is stuck with Trey and it turns out he's the Brother of the Protagonist's Biggest Rival! :O My regret over being stuck with Trey grew even more.

Trey is awful, blabbing the Protagonist's big reveal when SHE wanted to be the one to reveal it, she looked ready to knock him out and people in the game were cheering despite The Protagonist looking PISSED) Fans of the game where like,"How do people in universe not see how PISSED the Protagonist clearly looks? Why are they CHEERING?)

The Protagonist does a Show, and Trey is SUPPOSED to do ONE song as The Protagonist's OPENING act. Instead, he does like TWENTY songs and the Audience is PISSED when The Protagonist FINALLY goes on stage and does her show. The Reviews of the show are terrible saying stuff like,"Show was awful. Opening Act did about 20 songs and Headliner only did 5."

It is soon revealed that Trey was persuaded by his Sister to sabotage The Protagonist's Show by doing more songs as her Opening Act than she did as The Headliner and even he was like,"The Protagonist is so nice and didn't deserve for me to sabotage her show like that. I REALLY should have just done one song and been immediately off the stage after that."

Has this EVER happened in real life where the Opening Act in a Concert was LONGER than The Headliner? I remember Players saying stuff like,"If this were real life, Security would have dragged Trey off the stage after the second song at the most. No way would he be singing about 20 songs as an Opening Act. "

I've seen around 1200 shows over the course of my life so far and I've never been to a show where the opening act played longer than the headliner. It's probably happened but probably only in an unusual circumstance where the headliner was late getting to the venue or the headliner had to cut their set short because of some type of emergency.

That's what I was thinking, that an opening Act has never lasted longer than the Headliner. I, like the other players assumed that an Opening Act that tried to pull a dastardly stunt like Trey did to the Protagonist would have been pulled off stage by Security after the second song.
