Music for gamers

Simply.. What music do you listen to when you game .? For me, it depends on the game. When I play arcade games, I love blasting rock. Dragon force was always on repeat. So, what do you like to listen to when you game .?

Well, when I play car racing games, I tend to listen to grunge, post-grunge, punk-pop, skate punk etc. Hip hop and reggae fits with racing games too. Just as long as it doesn't steal focus.

I usually turn off my own music when I play video games so I can hear the in game music. If not, it's just the same old stuff I always listen to.

Yea.. When i play FPS I am focused haha.. Only with fighting games and any type of driving game do I listen to music. Or arcade games. THE NEW PACMAN especially .!

I really only listen to music when I play an FPS. Usually something lively, light-hearted, and with a steady beat. Lately it's been Caravan Palace, Foster the People, MGMT, At the Drive-In, Frank Zappa, and De Facto. I'm not particularly invested in staying alive as long as possible during online games, so distractions aren't really an issue.

Ah.. That's where we differ. I'm all about that KD ratio for my FPS games haha.
